ULTIQA Burleigh Mediterranean Resort

Beautiful room, location and styling. The view from room 804 is stunning. I thought the rooms would have been serviced (beds made, rubbish removed, fresh bath towels) but this was not the case, we had to ask for extra bath towels on our first morning, only 1 each had been supplied and only 1 pool/beach towel was in the room. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Would have been a fantastic experience, except we were let down by the room. The property managers were excellent, and overall the property and locations is great. For $3500 for the week, we expected a bit more of a modern apartment with no issues. The bathrooms are old and need renovating. Functional, but not up to today's standards. Kitchen is also the same. Dishwasher needed attention and the fridge has a broken handle. Once again, not expected at this price. In the 2nd room, the ceiling fan did not work (management gave us a pedestal fan to get by). Also, staying for a week, would have been a nice touch to get towels replaced and dishwasher tablets and toilet paper topped up (instead of having to buy). Carmel and the team were great property managers and very helpful. Apartments are privately owned, and I wouldn't stay in room 2304 again for this money. We would return and and try another room though (in the shoulder season when it was a bit cheaper)

We have stayed here before and it was great. However I do feel this time for a length of stay such as we had the service could have been better. Replenishing of towels, toiletries and things like tea and coffee would have been appreciated . There was not even one full roll of toilet paper left for us. There was also no salt and pepper in the room and no actual compendium left with other attractions, dining places or info about the place itself. More attention to those areas would be helpful. We did enjoy our stay but I do feel these other points are important.

Paid for a superior ocean view, got a north facing apartment whose balcony predominantly faced the hinterland. The apartment itself was modern and comfortable. The complex itself was lovely, have stayed here before to ocean facing apartments and always enjoyed the experience. This time I was extremely disappointed that I paid a premium for what I thought was a superior ocean apartment only to look out at the people in the next building.
